"AI Can't be credited for writing per the new union agreement, but the writers are allowed to use AI."

I predict a race to the bottom as the lion's share of writers regularly hired will be those who are willing to/advertise that they use AI, as opposed to those that do not, and create a set of young, pass-through writers that copy-paste AI content. This seems as though it was intended to give writers control, but either it will be worthless due to the above, or due to unforeseen exceptions carved out in technical contractual language. This is not good.

"Even things that are true can be stated in ways that seem like a bizarre take at first."

My favorite is the one they refer to a few tweets later:

"Every time you shuffle a standard deck of 52 playing cards, you very likely have created a sequence of cards that has never existed before in the history of the known universe."
