The situation with Patreon requiring creators to give 30% of their money to Apple looks really bad. John Gruber1 says they should call Apple's bluff and simply remove the option to subscribe from the app, exactly as they've been warned not to, because banning the App would look so bad for Apple.
This is just the start of a whole thread about new regulatory updates from the White House. NEPA exemption, better handling of historic preservation, multifamily manufactured housing. YIMBYs rejoice! Don't forget, rents go down (cached) in places that build the most homes.
In the comments he says the price is down to about $30/pound, which is actually not that much more expensive than normal smoked salmon... One commenter points out that it's much better propaganda to call it "no kill" meat instead of "lab grown".
