I think true that a subset of the public is too anxious about breakthrough infections, but guess who they are taking their cues from!
That set of red bars seems pretty close to my own behavior, although my internal thinking is that I’m delaying because I can’t vaccinate my kids yet, not because I’m worried about a breakthrough infection.

The poverty line at which "human needs are met" according to the authors is $3.20 a day.
Must be the most awful writing on global poverty that I've seen in a while.
They're setting this ridiculous bar for poverty so that they can claim that economic growth isn't needed to raise people out of poverty.
A case in point: when refrigerants were causing the ozone layer to deplete in 70s and 80s, we stopped the process not by banning refrigerators, but by using newer and better chemicals.
