So: careful hard work is better than random scattershot arrests, what a concept! Seriously though, it’s good to have a study in-hand with an example of how a change in enforcement policies can improve outcomes.

Another 50K is supposed to be dedicated to private open space per condo as well. Mountain View is almost as bad.

Moral uncertainty seems like such an obvious idea, but following through on it has interesting implications. No surprise that a strategy of intellectual humility is recommended by the author of the excellent book Scout Mindset.

Most people don't seem to know about high Hispanic life expectancy in America. But it's real! Hispanics tend to outlive Whites in America. Various theories have been proposed but the cause is still unknown.

I put together life expectancies and incomes in 2018 for a bunch of countries vs. people in the US with a similar racial/ethnic background and it looks like the biggest "America penalty" to life expectancy is among blacks, then whites, then Hispanics, then Asians. https://t.co/bdaxNzcBoI
