So, it's confusing, but this is actually a totally different technology from the previous video! They used Fable to build a whole 3d environment in Blender. But, I've gotta tell ya, I've tried to get Fable 5.1 to do some stuff in Blender, and I haven't had results this good, but I also haven't spent as much time with it as some of the folks who got early access have. – There's a bet between a bunch of technologists and some economists on whether Real US GDP per capita will grow by at least 15% within a single year by the end of 2033. The economists think no, and are willing to give very favorable odds, 4:1. About 6 different people are all parties to the bet now, including some from Google DeepMind on both sides of the bet. Granted I'm not quite understanding all of what each of these axes might capture, but it seems to me that Star Wars should have lower intelligence but higher energy than Star Trek. Droids are a interesting comparison point between the two, but it's also a place where both universes are a bit inconsistent in their implementation of technology. In Star Wars, most technology that isn't droids is seemingly quite utilitarian (even though outside of the movies they do mention a "droid brain" in the Falcon Han argues with, which eventually is retconned into Solo) where the interfaces in bases and ships is basically "advanced Commodore 64." In Star Trek, given their level of technology, they should have at least some holographic assistant doctors in every sickbay (as well as holosecurity throughout the ship, or at least in key areas), but this may be more of a cultural thing of allowing humans to have roles that allow them to self-actualize. Plus Worf has to get beat up to establish the stakes.
In terms of energy, it seems like in Star Trek you need some organizational backing to traverse the galaxy, whereas any Luke, Leia, and Han can go buy a ship for interstellar travel, to the point where "junk" is a common description for space ships. That seems like an abundance of energy availability to me, as more individuals in Star Wars have the capabilities of groups and organizations in Star Trek.
