While we're on the subject, today California HCD stated multiple times today that January 31st is the real deadline for housing elements to be submitted. This means that San Francisco is already planning to fall out of compliance, despite their city attorney's statements to the contrary. And on February 1st 2023, the “Builder’s Remedy” will kick in and height/density limits in SF will end.
