It's so fucking funny to be antivax. The creation of vaccines is arguably humankind's single greatest achievement. Unquestionably so in terms of the raw quantity of human misery averted. And a bunch of people are just...against that lol

Not to mention how impressive it is that we’ve deployed this specific vaccine over half the world's population already!

As I said yesterday, vaccinations for under 5s may not have a huge impact on deaths or even infections, but it gives us an opportunity for a clear off-ramp. Right now, without kids being vaccinated, kids are playing soccer outdoors with masks, which almost certainly isn’t medically necessary, but without that bright line it's hard to know where to stop.

Maybe there are situations where a city government should review individual project proposals, but SF city government is a pretty strong argument against the entire concept.
