This was a fun video, and I'm happy they don't actually end it on the sad note that it originally seemed like they'd end on. I really like the suggestion to focus on corners for new mixed-use stuff.

New York City has approximately 3 million parking spots, and 97% of them are free parking. A standard parking spot is 180 square feet. The average price per square foot of land in New York is ~$1000. New York City has an invisible $500 BILLION car subsidy.

Not only is this a wasteful policy, it's regressive as well, don't let anyone tell you otherwise.

This is great, absolutely amazing what Biden's first two terms have accomplished. Oh, and it appears that he's managed to avert the rail strike, and it seems like something out of a Key and Peele sketch.

Presumably the second one is a 'standing on the shoulders of giants' situation, where there's just way more good literature about chess that you can study. Or perhaps, techniques for learning chess have improved?
