The self-own is that he found that he himself was the source for when people claim without clear evidence that "30% of traffic is made up of people looking for parking". But Shoup has gamely responded by taking on the task of getting better answers so people who cite him can cite real research. Plus if you're interested in parking reform:

Employment in nursing and residential care facilities. I believe this accounts for most of the drop in employment in health care services since Covid.

This graph is somewhat unique amongst COVID-19 impact graphs, I don't think I've seen another like it.
