There's a relatively small altitude range where internet satalites work. SpaceX managed to get something up and running first, and it's really cool, but I'm quite worried abut what'll happen if multiple providers try to operate in the same altitudes. The debris from any collission could make the situation even worse.

This is probably right too: forgiving all student loan debt is more easily demagoguable. Although, since most studies suggest that forgiving all student loan debt is regressive (lots of law/business/med students) the critics wouldn't be entirely wrong.

If they're gonna forgive student loan debt, polling is pretty clear that forgiving everything is very unpopular.

I wonder how the extreme incompetence/cowerdace of the Uvalde police will impact the debate about guns. Certainly doesn't make police departments look good though.

If I were to summarize public opinion on guns with one poll, I think it would be this one — leaning toward desiring strict rules but broadly okay with the status quo.

This polling is such a bummer. Not only is any form of gun reform significantly below water, but to stop mass shootings, I suspect we'd need significant gun reform.
