Too bad they don't have some other form of base load power generation they could have been using instead of more low-grade coal.
This is interesting, but unfortunately the higher rates hit apartment construction quite directly, which is a major engine of new affordable homes.
What's interesting about this is that if I understand correctly, China is both the source of a massive portion of the newly installed solar as well as newly installed coal.
