The situation around the debt ceiling is a bit worrying at the moment, but it's generally expected that a breach of the ceiling is unlikely. Democrats should have gotten rid of the debt ceiling last year when they had the house and senate. Republicans walked away from negotiations this afternoon, although they're said to have returned to negotiations.
If you look at the underlying paper, it's really impressive how fast they've moved compared to neighboring countries. Best I can tell, it's mostly utility-scale stuff.
