
Wild to me that Amazon's order confirmations intentionally hide the two most important things:
- What you ordered
- Where it's being shipped
Completely nuking their customer UX in order to keep Google from getting their commerce data.

From the thread, I learned that they actually send the full receipt info if you use a custom (non-gmail) domain name.

The whole shot is pretty funny in my opinion.

Not only can Bing stage a pretty good theoretical debate between two dead philosophers, but it can speculate how they would employ their philosophies in hypothetical situations (I like how "Kant" points out the contradiction in mutually assured destruction). AI is impressive!




This is really cool, although I must admit that I'm not sure I understand Kant's argument about the contradiction of MAD. If you'd prefer, he also got the Founding Fathers' opinions on the KFC Double Down sandwich.

Within the next week or two there will be a broad CEQA a reform bill introduced by @Scott_Wiener and a broad coalition.

I'm really looking forward to this, the most recent incident in Berkeley really highlighted the problem, but happened just in time for a bill to be introduced this cycle.
