I'm not saying that the stagnation of the last half-century was *caused* by under-caffeination, just that our coffee consumption has fallen by half since the postwar years.

I must have heard this before, but it's very funny that Economics was called "The Dismal Science" because some slave owner was angry that economists said slavery was bad.
