I can't stop looking at this image that illustrates the fact that Stable Diffusion's latent space is continuous. That is you can take any two images generated by SD and generate an image that's "in between" them in latent space.

The image is from this article. Really great illustration, theoretically you could zoom in even more on any of these transitions and get even more in-between images.

I do have to wonder how the Kremlin discussion about invading Ukraine contemplated the question of Finland. Did someone bring it up and everyone agreed it was irrelevant? Did they think Finland would be intimidated into not joining NATO? Were folks afraid to even mention it?

Finland’s application has now been ratified by all members and we will join NATO. Thank you to all countries for your support. As allies, we will give and receive security. We will defend each other. Finland stands with Sweden now and in the future and supports its application.

It cannot be emphasised enough the extent to which Putin and Russia would get more of what they wanted if they simply stoped waging war in Ukraine.
