Sen. Mitt Romney says that bipartisan infra talks started with 5 GOP senators and has expanded to “eight or nine people [in his conference] who think we’re on the right track.”
Suggests a deal could come close to 60 votes.

There was a time I believed it improved bipartisanship, sadly it's now really clear that was incorrect.

A criminal justice idea that shouldn't cross anyone's ideological taboos would be to spend what it takes to collect homicide data in a timely way.
Right now outside of the biggest cities we have no idea how many people were murdered last year!

Our economic statistics are so incredibly detailed, in comparison, getting murder statistics seems like it would be cheap.
