Apple moving iPhone to USB-C is probably good, although I somewhat prefer Lightning to USB-C. But legally mandating it is dumb.

This here is the thing. Yes Chesa is a jerk but he's ultimately largely irreverent to SF crime rates. If you want to reduce crime, figure out how to make the cops do their jobs.

@Noahpinion Militarize the Police!
By which I mean ban police unions, have one police agency per state, with strong civilian leadership, a transparent bureaucracy, and an educated, professional managerial and detective class that does not share the culture of patrol.

Big problem with many US government conspiracy theories.
If you think SF is looking bad on that chart, the 'most dangerous' metro areas are in the 60-70 per 100k range. County-level variation is much higher, ranging from 6 to 160.
