Congratulations to whomever updated the HBOMax Apple TV app. It’s hands down the worst update in the history of apps across any platform. Best I can tell the controls are literally randomized. Each click does something new and different. Doesn’t Apple review apps for this reason?

For reference, the HBOMax app was pretty bad before the update. But thank goodness it doesn't mention that HBO accepts signups on their website.

Lots of evidence says a police presence on the street reduces crime. A smaller but growing body of evidence says police arresting people does not reduce crime, at least not at current margins. Just see and be seen.
