Unfortunately SCOTUS is pretty close to arguing that Christianity is the only real religion. Also, regarding this specific case, they seem to have embraced a version of events that simply doesn't match reality. Anyway, giving this a shot would be amusing, if a tad dangerous.

Finally made a map to meet the gravity of the moment - in 2014, in a state as red as North Dakota (Obama +20/Trump +35), voters soundly defeated an amendment that would effectively ban abortion. When voters are confronted with anti-abortion legislation, it is not popular.

I'm not the biggest fan of ballot refurendums, but it seems like that's the next step.

If you are worried about a tit-for-tat retaliation, the solution is to go big. Expand the Supreme Court to 27 judges (same as the European Court of Justice) and dare the Republicans to expand it to 55. They won't be able to do it.
