Jha says that due to lack of funding, the U.S. will not have enough bivalent vaccines for every American who wants one this fall and winter. And that's if the FDA authorizes the updated shots.

They *think* the FDA will authorize the bivalent vaccines. (It's formulated against omicron, and appears to work)

The court opinion impacts a significant portion of all Americans, is unusually incoherent, and there's been actual research indicating it will lead to higher levels of violent crime. American confidence in the Supreme Court has fallen to 25%, although I'm sure some of that is people who don't think they're right-wing enough.
