This was reported last week by sketchier outlets, but if WSJ is reporting it, must be real. But the fact is, whether it was a wet market or gain of function research, we should be trying to reform both of these. While we're at it, maybe we should be worrying more about random people synthesizing novel diseases as well. Also, did the Biden admin hold this till after Secretary Blinken finished his trip to China?
