“The vaccines we have are superb against death and severe disease, and only 45% percent of Americans that are eligible have gotten that booster,” said Dr. Poland. “A newer vaccine is highly unlikely to change that.” wsj.com/articles/can-w… via @WSJ
This is such a strange defeatist view. Develop the vaccines, worry later about whether you're going to be able to get people to take it. If we develop something that prevents all transmission, why do you think folks won't want that?

1. Mercedes-Benz makes cars
2. When a car hyroplanes, it slides on water
3. A hydroplane sounds like a plane that goes on water
4. Planes fly through the air
If you ask #dalle for a photo of a “Mercedes-Benz hydroplane,” it tries to combine these facts, and the result is perfect

Sorta looks like #6 has a sail. Also, apparently a hydroplane is an actual type of boat.

Never forget that when Seoul, Korea removed the Cheonggyecheon expressway in 2003 & replaced it with a restored stream & 1000 acre park in the city’s centre, not only did it transform the city’s public life & economic success, but the traffic got better.
