Gas tax is efficient, but when the rubber meets the road, that doesn't matter if the policy is hated. Don’t raise the salience of the issue if you’re on the losing side!
As a lib I am mad about the Manchin compromise supporting voter ID. If Mitch McConnell supports it I will be owned.
