The apple watch was not 10x the price of the fitbit, so I don't expect it's install base to leapfrog Meta Quest quite that fast, but it's still plausible. Again and again Apple challenges the Clayton Christensen idea that "disruption comes from below" in terms of price.
I sorta suspect there are more Teslas on the road with advanced driver assistance, but it can't be 10x more. Presumably Tesla buyers are more willing to buy into the idea that the technology is 'good enough' to trust? But obviously that's also largely Tesla's fault.
Look, I'm not going to tell you that I think it's bad that west coast dock workers make 200k a year (bosses make 300k) Honestly, keeping trade moving is ridiculously important. But I will say that we should never grant anyone's request that they dig ditches with spoons, especially if that ditch is important.
