Twice as many e-bikes were sold as electric vehicles last year, in the US.
If you think large shifts away from the car are pie-in-the-sky fantasies, whereas replacing all the gas cars with EVs is the sober realistic option, it's time to reevaluate.
I was blown away by this number, especially given how much more we spend on car infrastructure than bike infrastructure.
I enjoy @kdrum in cranky mode, but I wish he'd tried to sugarcoat this a little to persuade more people.
Honestly, I really would have appreciated if this was sugar-coated a bit. although I’m not sure how to get the Democratic Party’s attention without it being harsh. Definitely counter-intuitive, but it rings true when you think about it for a moment.
Absolutely agree with this @EricTopol take, to which I would add that full authorization will open the doors to more aggressive marketing of the vaccines which could be helpful.
Full authorization would allow one of the companies to hire Trump as a spokesperson and give him a cut of the money. It's clearly the best way to get shots in arms.

When it's not in his financial interest, he's not going to do the right thing. Generally he’s going to find the wrong thing, and do that specifically.
What can I say besides, we had hot dogs.
