I didn't know that the NBER doesn't necessarily use '2 quarters of falling GDP' as the pure measure of whether the economy is in recession.

@smartenergy4u At the first quarter growth rate, solar generation will double in USA every 2 or 3 years. Amazing. In 5 years, solar could be generating about 16% of US electricity, if that growth rate continues for 5 years.
