I found this interesting chart of historical entertainment industry profits (and losses) a few weeks ago. All the major companies decided to compete with Netflix, and competition drove all the profit out of the industry. But it's even more ridiculous because none of this is the fault of actors or writers.

There was a lot of discussion about these papers, theories as to why it got published in two places at once, Reminder of why a room temperature superconductor would be a very big deal. But too bad it's almost certainly fake.

This was a very interesting story to me, seems like genuinely good news, although of course we should still be working to improve policing further.
