The NFL just informed clubs that if a game cannot be rescheduled during the 18-week season in 2021 due to a COVID outbreak among unvaccinated players, the team with the outbreak will FORFEIT and be credited with a loss for playoff seeding, per sources. Massive implications.

More details: players don't have to be out as long if they test positive but are vaccinated. If the game can't be played, the players don't get paid. All in all, they want to raise their vaccination rate from the measly 73% they were at. They can only hope to catch up to the WNBA at 99%.
