During 2021 Bitcoin consumed 134 TWh in total, which is comparable to the electrical energy consumed by a country like Argentina.
Related CO2 emissions were ~64 Mt; enough to negate the entire global net savings from deploying EVs.

2/3 (!) of COVID+ admissions at two LA public hospitals are now for reasons other than COVID

@eliowa I can tell you that at the two public hospitals in LA for which i review all Covid + tests, at this point only 1/3 of Covid+ admissions are admitted because of Covid. And only 20-25% +tests in ED are admitted. Agree, reliance upon administrative data is misleading.

We need to find a way to convince people to get the booster who already had the first two doses. I wonder if it's vaccine polarization since they got their first shots.
