Pretty strange outcome, plus I ended up watching the Siberian Hamster bit from Faulty towers.



They even have heat pump water heaters now, with a built in instant water heater so that it never runs out! With energy usage similar to an incandescent light bulb!
Terrifying to think that the whole 'killing the host' part of covid is not part of whether it spreads effectively. I previously imagined that avoiding killing the host is a helpful limiter on infectious diseases, but apparently that thinking may not be correct (at least not in any way that's useful for humans).
