Note the range requirement on the graph, what happened was that suddenly a bunch of companies figured out how to get big batteries into their cars.

Somebody should create a platform for bespoke index investing. Like I should be able to invest $10k in a market cap weighted index of all stocks with market caps below $10B whose ticker symbols start with C or N.

One person responded with a link to a paper about such a hypothetical service, claiming that such a thing will be available soon. I could certainly imagine writing a database query to create an automatic index, I just can't imagine what I'd want to do with it...
