It is extraordinary how Russia has frittered away its mobilisation since Sep; half of 300,000 sent straight to the front as casualty replacements. Western officials are surprised Russia began offensive so early & that it’s taking such risks w/ ammo stocks.

There were rumors of an upcoming new offensive by Russia, but it has turned out that we were already seeing it and could only tell because Russian causualties were up. If Der Spiegel is right, and China starts providing Russia with drones, will things change, or will Russia's timing be off once again.
