Shockingly, mindfulness apps really work. This randomized controlled trial on the Headspace app finds it reduces anxiety and depression by a huge .44 standard deviations after 4 weeks - in the same range as drug treatment & cognitive behavioral therapy. adviksh.com/files/in_progr…

Wow! There's a lot in the trial design that's interesting, the idea of the cash transfer placebo tickles me. Also, cool that the effect lasts long after the period where they’re incentivized to use the app. I wonder how long the effect lasts after you stop using the app.

62% of Ukrainians wish their country to be a NATO member, 30% are against. 68% are for the EU membership, 24% are against. This is all-time high support for both NATO and EU in Ukraine. Stop spreading Russian propaganda about "divided nation". A 2/3 majority is not a devision.
