My new personal web perf minimum "is it faster than an Apple watch". Note that this is a series 5; newer watches are 20% faster so around ~20. On the right is a Samsung S95B OLED "smart TV". Also, you'd be surprised how many Android devices can't clear the very very low bar of 20

He also points out that this is mostly because Qualcomm has fallen really far behind on performance. Their best processor scores about 100, while my year old iPhone scores 294. Since I'm checking these things, my year old mac scores 349 and the qualcomm-based Android phone I carry scores 35.
