Seems like it would be awfully nice to have nasal vaccines that would prevent even mild/assymptomatic infection and therefore block transmission — amazing to me that there’s no big funding stream for this.

The implied population-level infection numbers here are just wild. Avoiding this thing will be very, very hard, in a way I’m not sure our public conversation has caught up to.
Strong case for being very, very cautious if you have immunocompromised people in your life.

Today's update on SF/@UCSF numbers. Bottom line –huge increase in cases & test positivity. Hospitalizations still pretty benign (though early signs of an uptick).
