One of the most interesting facts in @JamesTFrith's latest battery survey is that the batteries in Chinese buses are about 1/3 the cost of those in Western buses. Makes me wonder if this would be a good place for the US federal government to play catchup.
He suggests guaranteed purchase agreements, once again, individual large states could also probably move the needle on this.
I talk about income and education a lot, but one other way Hispanic Americans are catching up to (and overtaking) White Americans is in terms of low incarceration rates.
The Hispanic population is MUCH younger than the White population, but the rate of jail is now lower!
