Flipping tabs in the new Safari is terrible. The flipping of the chrome colour makes it even harder to see what tab is selected. This isn’t an artificial test, these were the tabs I had open.

So, can you even tell that this is flipping between tabs? It looks like he’s cycling applications! Apple decided that the solution to everyone hating their new tab UI is to get out a shovel and start digging themselves deeper into a usability hole.
