I don't think I've previously linked to anything about the Alex Jones trial, but today was pretty crazy. The trial is all recorded, so you can see the video if you like, seems bad when the lawyer's biggest challenge is figuring out where to stop. The perjury wasn't even his only problem, they also admitted evidence in which he said the jury doesn't know what planet they're on! Of course he's really pissed off the judge. Many lawyers were commenting that this is the worst they've seen anyone do on the stand. Good memes too
Another interesting item from the article was Yglesias' point that roads aren't actually Public Goods in the classical economic sense, something I should have realized but hadn't.
I really don't want to get my hopes up too much, but maybe we can turn things around here... In other news, Republicans proudly released internal polling showing their Senate candidate behind significantly in a Lean-R state.
