A major point here: The FBI found documents marked "HCS," which refers to clandestine human sources who risk their lives to provide information to the US government.
This is from the affidavit, released redacted today, for the warrant for the search of Mar-a-Lago. They wanted to do the search because the boxes he initially returned had such an insane amount of classified material.
