Post See new Tweets Conversation Alec Stapp @AlecStapp · Aug 19 Ah, so that’s why China decided to stop publishing youth unemployment data Alec Stapp @AlecStapp Things are looking bleak in China right now

Youth unemployment in China is nearly 22 percent, so they've stopped publishing it. But things could still get worse, worryingly, CCP leadership may decide that military action is a solution to this economic decline. Russia has very low unemployment right now! (Because Russia’s getting all the young men killed!)

Alec Stapp @AlecStapp This is insane: The most stringent level of environmental review under NEPA is used way more often for clean energy projects than for fossil fuel projects. Many fossil fuel projects are “categorically excluded” from NEPA even though similar scale clean energy projects aren't.

Obviously we need legislation to add categorical exclusions for clean energy projects, it's supposed to be an environmental law! Here's the source article.

 M. Nolan Gray @mnolangray I'm forever thinking of this Reddit thread: "What did a Roman parking lot look like?" Quote Peter Norton @PeterNorton12 · Aug 20 Without history we tend to consider the status quo normal, and other possibilities anomalous. But the original proponents of today's status quo on US streets called their own position "radical," and the status quo we live with every day was their far-fetched, radical aspiration. twitter.com/fietsprofessor…

Faux pas: I put two tweets from the same person about different subjects next to each other! Oh well.
