I admit, I had to reread this a few times to realize this isn't a proposed Hydrogen production subsidy. The $3/kg subsidy for green Hydrogen is *in the bill* that was signed today. Hydrogen is expected to be one of the better ways to deal with intermitency over long periods at municipal grid scales.


Definitely seems like a good idea to diversify: "Demand for lithium is likely to be almost 60 times as high as current consumption by 2050"


They say they want to run them on "sustainable" aviation fuel, and that start flight tests in 2026. Seems... unlikely to be a success.


Cheney lost her primary by 30 points, which is pretty unusual for an incumbent. I think folks on the left generally respect her integrity on this one issue. How the left should handle the situation is a bit trickier, Josh Barro’s take is scathing, although not everyone agrees that the center and center-left should do nothing to help moderate Republicans.
