I always found it a little weird that crypto people gloss over this point. If anyone who uses the Tornado network is committing a crime, it seems like the people who are collectively operating the Tornado network—Ethereum miners—bear at least as much responsibility.

This is an excerpt from a an explainer about Treasury Department's sanctions on Tornado Cash written from a relatively pro-cryptocurrency perspective, which I found interesting, although I don't really agree with the basic framing of the situation as bad.
