I initially thought these were excerpts from a profile or interview of this person, but no, it's from a blog post they put online on purpose. @MarketUrbanism continues with a really great observation: "Less snarky observation: single-minded focus on which citizens are being helped will always backfire. Govts look out for everybody, or look out for the privileged. Those are the only two options."
