The scary part is that despite the fact that so many are losing confidence in the supreme court, it's not clear how that can result in any meaningful changes. Is the legislature really going to impeach over the pretty egregious ethics violations?
This sounds great, although I'm not sure how many of them they're going to sell if they really go ahead and remove CarPlay from them. Fords projections are also ambitious, but crucially IMO, CarPlay is staying.
Kind of a cool experiment, they managed to make it double-blind because during covid, TAs were answering questions via email, so it was possible to assign them male or female names without the TAs knowing what name was being shown. I also wonder whether students are less likely to be biased against women based on just seeing a name, maybe the bias only comes into play when they actually see or hear the person.
