Wow! That seems blatantly corrupt! Relatedly, John Roberts today refused to testify before the Senate Judiciary committee regarding their ethics policy. His excuse amounts to "the Chief Justice should only be required to testify if the situation is unimportant"
The whole thread is fantastic, the "The Troll A platform" in particular looks totally wild. A quick Wikipedia lookup indicates that it's also the heaviest structure ever moved.
This is quite an achievement, and personally I don't think there's any going back. Electric cars seem to be simpler to make than gas cars, I doubt entry level teslas will ever be more expensive than the average gas cars again. I prefer an electric car that still has some buttons though. In other news, GM is ending the Bolt line, and retooling to make bigger vehicles.
