Netflix's stock is down a lot. Oh, and while we're on the subject of streaming services, CNN+ has fewer subscribers than slow boring. So they're not even part of the fight.

This is a classic steppe warfare tactic. Send the people of captured cities to charge into the guns and die. Reduces the population of conquered regions while providing a very slight military benefit.

Ukrainian intelligence reports that Russia plans to carry out forced mobilization in the occupied territories of Zaporizhzhia and Kherson regions after pseudo-referendums. Ukrainians are to be sent into the hottest spots of the frontline to fight their own armed forces 🙄

I continue to really wonder whether this kind of conscription will work in modern militaries, we are unfortunately going to find out.
