I'm not even clear on how important Taiwan actually is to average Chinese people, maybe they'd say that it's very important, but where do you think they'd rank it against other items? Is it more important than the price of consumer staples? the real estate market? Americans say they're worried about AI, but when you ask them where they'd rank it against other threats, way less than 1% say it's the biggest.
