It’s crazy to me that past decade or so, money was free, everyone hired like crazy and big tech barely shipped anything.
Now somehow everyone is galvanized, competing and Microsoft, Google, even Adobe are shipping features, products and cloning startups on a weekly basis.
When covering traffic cameras, it would be nice if journalists mentioned the projected reduction in injuries and deaths, not just the expected revenue.

The Chinese government has de facto control of any company whose senior management is is physically in China. If you don’t do what you’re told you’re told you disappear. It has used this control multiple times just in the last year.
