The rats are beatable, but not if the law requires us to store trash in building basements and courtyards, and then dump it on sidewalks in plastic bags to be manually picked through by hand and then tossed around by workers – eventually, mostly, making it into a truck

We don’t do a centralized assessment of each household’s “refrigerator needs” and then mandate a specific minimum fridge size based on what planners think is needed — people buy bigger or smaller fridges based on preference/space/budget tradeoffs they make on their own.
