I'm not sure how to reconcile MLK's firm belief in nonviolence with his belief in proper policing. I'm not saying one *can't* reconcile those things, I'm just not sure how exactly *King* would do so. His views were nuanced and can't be reduced to slogans.

total energy emissions associated with washers and dryers is about 6% of the 10% of energy associated with residential usage, or 0.55% of all energy total. if we eliminate dryers entirely we're at about 0.05%. this is not actually improved by doing it at laundromats!

At this point it's quite hard to tell whether Michael Hobbes is dumb or lying, but nothing in my NYT piece came from The College Fix. The reason I used "America is a melting pot" as an example of a microaggression is because the godfather of microaggressions said it is one.
